The Covid-19 pandemic and its short-term and long term impact on mobility

Explore how the pandemic has had an impact on global mobility policies and whether those changes are likely to be short-lived.

This session will explore:

  • How mobility policies evolved during the pandemic with the creation of different policy types, such as virtual assignments and international remote work
  • Will these types of policies continue to be popular in a post-pandemic world? If not, what will happen to them and which types will be popular?
  • What are the challenges that companies will face in a post-pandemic environment when trying to encourage mobility?

ECA data update

Following on from the publication of updates to ECA's mobility data, this session will include a summary of the major changes and what this means for mobility teams in the Asia Pacific region.

This session will explore:

  • Global inflation and how it will impact assignment management – specifically looking at Cost of Living and which locations have seen the greatest increases as well as locations which have seen rental inflation
  • Exchange rates and how volatility has impacted assignment management
