The Covid-19 effect - What happened and what's next for global mobility?

This webinar explores findings from our recent survey of the responses of over 300 international organisations to the Covid-19 pandemic. The survey covered key challenges that companies faced when the pandemic hit and what adjustments they made to their employee mobility.

ECA's Regional Director of Asia, Lee Quane and Associate Director of Asia, Mark Harrison, discuss:

  • Initial responses to the Covid-19 pandemic: what measures did companies take during the onset of the pandemic to mitigate its impact on their employees.
  • Adjustments to salaries and benefits during the pandemic: should companies adjust assignment-related allowances and benefits as a result of the pandemic and what did companies do?
  • How will Covid-19 impact employee mobility in the short-term: which assignment types are most at risk from the fallout of the Covid-19 pandemic and what policy changes are likely to be considered by mobility departments in response to the pandemic?
