World Cup 2022 is around the corner and the couch is calling – but not all spuds pay the same on food and drinks! Have you ever wondered how much it costs to be a couch potato around the world?

In this special edition, we've used our cost of living data to calculate how much it will cost you and a friend to support your country from your couch. The price under each shirt shows the cost in US dollars of two takeaway meals (burger, fries and soft drink), six 330ml cans of beer (or six 330ml cans of soft drink if alcohol is not available) and a 150g packet of potato crisps to share in that country's capital.
